Dried Wedding Bouquet Flowers

Q: I am interested in framing dried wedding bouquet flowers from my dried wedding bouquet from over two years ago. Can you help me?

A: Air drying had been the only means of preserving bridal bouquets for centuries. Now we can freeze dry wedding bouquets and maintain the shape and color of the flowers beautifully. Placing your dried wedding bouquet in a frame, either a shadow box or oval frame with a dome, will keep the flowers safe and prevent deterioration. If you like, we can add freeze dried material here and there to make the flowers lokk "fresher".

A: Our Houston florists, as well as many in other parts of the country, are very aware of our long history of bridal bouquet preservation. For over 20 years we have been preserving wedding bouquets and creating keepsakes that become family heirlooms. Wedding Bouquet Preservation

Q: Your wedding bouquet preservation looks beautiful. I would like to also display my mother's already dried wedding bouquet flowers. Can you help?

A: Thanks for the compliment. Air drying used to be the way to go for bridal bouquet preservation. It was all there was available. The advent of floral freeze drying techniques has made it possible to create keepsakes with the form and color of the fresh bridal bouquet.

We have made many beautiful keepsakes from air-dried wedding bouquets. If you like, we can augment the air-dried flowers with some freeze dried material to give a "fresher" look. What a thoughtful gift that would be for your mother!
