Needing, having someone there
Nurturing, believing in the
Ideals two hearts share.
Voices mixed in song and
laughter,
Ears that hear the words not
said,
Reconciling quarrels after,
Substituting love instead.
Allowing for some separation,
Returning soon enough to share;
Involving some imagination
Each day proving that you care.
Such loving acts as these make
